I was considering the IWE delete because if that plastic piece breaks the repair involves removing the tie rod ends. And aftermarket tie rod ends are tough to remove. I'm STILL looking for a positive review of those IWE deletes, but can't find one. I also agree that there's more wear on the front diff when the parts are being "dragged" rather than pushed.

Think the IWE can be completely replaced without removing the tie rod end, its a little tight but should work. As far as wear, with the IWE delete the front diff and CV shafts rotate with the wheels 100% of the time, regardless of whether or not you are in 4WD. With the IWE the front diff and CV's only rotate when 4WD is engaged, so not necessarily a push vs pull, really just with IWE the stuff doesn't spin at all haha.

Some updates to the build! I was inspired by @L0L and had to get myself a Dirt Dynamix umbrella haha

The original setup for the iPad with the Mob Armor enclosure was simply to heavy to use with the Baja Forged mount and I wasn't happy with the amount of moving around it did when off road so I swapped the setup out for an iPad mini and used an Otterbox to mount it to the Baja mount. This setup works great with little movement and allows you to tilt the iPad out of the way when not in use. The Otterbox also comes with a nifty screen cover for when you're not using it, highly recommend.

Next up on the list was the VHF radio. I had previously kept the Icom that was in the truck when I got it but quickly realized that since it was an amateur band radio that had been modified it wasn't capable of transmitting on newer business band frequencies. I searched high and low for some good business band options that has a remote head and ultimately decided on a Kenwood TK790. The install was a giant pain in my ass but I needed to drop the headliner sooner or later in order to fix the sunroof so I figured I would knock it out all in one shot. Now the sunroof works again and I have a fancy new radio haha. It's setup with the mic input on the headunit as well as another mic input on the side of the center console so either configuration can be used.

After the initial build up I put about 1000 street miles on the truck and then re-torqued everything before going out to geiser loop to shake down the truck and see what she could do. Honestly it performed much better than expected and I had to make very few tweeks in order to get it running the way I wanted. The rear end still leaves a bit to be desired but hopefully when my bypasses show up (one day) that will be a thing of the past.

Originally I wanted to run an RPG bypass rack with a 454 motorsports chase rack but after picking up the RPG rack and taking some measurements it became obvious that with the 454 rack there would be no room for anything else in the bed like a cooler. So my buddy Cody at TSWAZ was able to get me swapped out to an RPG chase rack with the integrated bypass mounts. Though the rack won't have the option of removal, it does allow roughly half the bed to be used. I also fabbed up a quick little fluid holder for some extra engine oil and power steering fluid. All in all I love the setup!

I'm still working out the finer details of how im going to mount the Powertank with the new rack setup as well as a few other bits in the bed. Should have some updates on that soon.

Since getting this bad chicken put together in June i've managed to put about 6k miles on her, of which a little more than 1000 have been off road. Heres a few pictures from those adventures. If anyone on here is runnning a RTT with pups I highly, highly recommend the Doggo Ramp by Desert Armor.

Love it. I've done a few runs out here where I've had to take the rack off. Without the other gear it only takes about an hour. Love the flexibility.

Hopefully you will never have to do that task.
I have replaced two of them and within 3 years of replacement,
the same two have stopped working.

But what about the Torsen front diff? With the iwe delete, it's not an "open" diff anymore, so when turning on dry pavement with the front tires "locked" won't it chirp and break traction like a spooled rear axle? Won't the front diff be fighting itself on tight turns?
