Back in the day we used to buy Crazy Carpets from K-mart to line our inner fenders because it was cheap, pliable, and tough as hell.

Thanks JV. Makes more sense that snakes. HA. I remember them when I was a kid sledding down the hills. Looking back, I dont know how my ass survived! One big rock in the snow could have catastrophic.

I'll be looking for some bulk textured plastic that can be used for this purpose and keep the "crazy carpet" in mind if I dont find what Im looking for.

Crazy Carpet may not be ideal, Much better alternatives these days. I have used flexible kitchen cutting boards to make small rock guards and fenders for other applications.
Let us know if you find any material to match the textured fender liner.
