Tomorrow I'll use my phone and make short vid flexing them to see. If I was doing wheeling a lot I'd use Dzus fasteners.
I checked the flexibility on them, they're fairly rigid, but have some flex. Deflinitely nothing like those rubber floppy mud flaps on heavy trucks. Descriptively, they're more of a flexible plastic than rubber. Removal takes undoing 4 screws per wheel arch.

Installed the regular Rokblokz front mudflaps. Better side coverage as they extend out and higher but about 3/8 inch shorter than the Weathertech. I’m leaving the rear Weathertechs on because I don’t want to mess with the Husky wheel well liners again

Cheap but functional. Rally armor generic mud flap pack for $35.

I have the Weathertech's and they are great for keeping the truck clean and they fit and look nice. Having said that, they are stiff and only connected with three screws going into plastic inserts in the fenders. If you plan to go over big obstacles, should they catch, they will certainly break off and tear out the inserts. If you plan to do that stuff I would get the floppy rubber ones, but I was amazed at how much they charge for those. I don't plan to go over waterfall shelf or boulder obstacles so I have not installed the RCI rock sliders either. For that I suppose you should be driving a Jeep anyway.
