It's going to cost you an extra $10k unless you wanted the Retardos, **** blue interior, carbon fiber, and stupid stickers. It might be a negative for your bank account ...

if totaling & buying Raptors has taught me one thing, it’s that they hold their value better than most anything else mainstream on the road, & when it comes to private party resale.....ALOT of buyers want all the goodies

When I got my AR15 it was a lil more expensive chambered in 5.56 vs 223, but went w/ 5.56 & voila - you can also shoot 223 but not the other way around

i view the 37” option on the Gen3 similarly, besides- notice how many people on the forum try to figure out how to get 37”s on their gen2s effectively? I didn’t care enough to modify my gen2 to accommodate 37”s - (and then there’s obvious warranty implications) but I’d order a gen3 from the factory that way

Cant wait to tbh, always wanted to custom order a vehicle/truck & think when time comes to replace my Gen2 I’m going to give it a shot. Will wait until the 2nd or 3rd model year tho

Hah. I think along the same lines. Did the same thing when I got my AR. Even got a piston driven one.

The nice thing about ordering a vehicle is that you can get exactly what YOU want. I've done that and prefer it that way. You only need a bit of patience. I don't care about resale because I tend to drive my vehicles a long time. But the wild card in this game now is tech. It's so expensive to fix and so hard to diagnose that planning to keep a vehicle beyond 100k could be a losing bet.

I read the article explaining the differences between a 35” vs 37” raptor package....oh I am definitely going w/ the 37”s since they won’t be “forced” like on a gen2 but even more so b/c there’s basically no weight penalty, again Ford had BFG make Raptor-specific K02s- the 35”a weigh 64 lbs & the 37”s 68 lbs

Get more ground clearance, softer ride, stronger frame, beefier shocks- it ain’t just the “.1” in exterior diameter, the 37 Raptor Fox shocks have larger internal guts all around.

doesn’t seem like there will be any “negatives” to going w/ the 37”s only positives. Sign me up

we still have not seen the mid level trim for the Raptor. That baby blue is problematic and really limits your exterior color options.
