Recently I installed morimotos on my 2014 gen 1 and when in park they function fine. Tested all lighting, blinkers, etc but for some reason when i go into drive/reverse they start to do this. Is this hyperflash? PO had a lot of lighting installed so i was going to go over the blinker wiring and see if anything was wrong. If i have the lights fully on they are also ok even in drive. I was also reading sometimes you need to turn off light regulation in forscan for LEDs. Stock headlights were the OEM HID headlights.

That is pretty odd that everything works normal when parked and does this in gear. Any resistors installed on that circuit?

Doubt it. Mori advertises that they should be plug and play. Reached out to them too but nothing yet. Im likely going to be installing a new bumper this weekend so i figured id go over PO wiring and see if there is anything to clean up.

Worth looking over what the PO did. Seems hit or miss on whether trucks need resistors for certain circuits or not. Older trucks with LEDs usually need some kind of resistors somewhere. I've had my fair share of issues with Morimoto lights in the past but they always accepted a warranty claim. Hopefully they can get back to you and figure something out.

Yea it almost seems like they are getting energized when they shouldnt be. And im inclined to believe its something on the truck because they do function normally for the most part. Or if they can provide resistors that would be great too.
