I have a Gen 1 Scab 2010 with Morimoto headlights. Is there a way to tell how old these headlights are by a serial number somewhere on the lights? Drivers side DRL white led strip is out partially. Just trying to determine how old these things are and if there is a model # somewhere on the light. Previous owner left no docs for the headlights with the truck when I bought it.

There's no warranty even if they were 1 week old. As you are not the original owner. Morimoto's warranty only covers the original owner sorry to tell you.

There could be ways to tell based on what the lights look like but it's been a bit since I saw the original versions. The current version has been sold for a few years now.

If it comes down to it and you plan to buy new ones, they ARE on sale right now: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/vehicle-specific/ford-f-150/2009-2014-f-150/headlights/

Not that it's helping your situation but at least you have options.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. Wasn’t looking for warranty replacement. Just trying to determine which model they are so I can research a fix for that issue I am having. Flickers sometimes when I give it a Fonzy tap so I believe a loose connector or wire. Just need to take apart.
