If any of you are on the fence about the MPT Tune I would be happy to give you a ride in the SF Bay Area or Sparks NV area

I'll make the same offer in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area. The MPT tune is THAT good. The truck is night and day faster than stock. It's incredible how much more power there is...this thing is a truck and it runs like a GT500. No one I take out for a ride believes there's a 6 cylinder under the hood.

One question for anyone that keeps the NGauge attached to the windshield or in the truck....does yours sometimes quickly turn on and off while you're driving. Mine does. Like a quick blink on and off....doesn't affect the tune obviously, but the gauges blink...odd. But not sure if others are experiencing that as well. LMK

I'm not worried.

I should be getting a cut of all this MPT action... but nope.... my only reward is that I have an awesome tune!

Oh, What to do??? I wasn't going to tune this thing at all...UNTIL...someone starts posting MPT is the ****-nit, or something to that affect. Decided to let others jump to the front of the line and either verify or deny Guy's claims. VERIFY it was. So then I take some more time just to make sure I want to bite the bullet and order tunes...thread turns into a Whipple vs MPT debate. $2K or $700 for tunes and N-Guage?????? Back to my original question, What to do??? Should have the MPT sometime next week. Guy, if this thing sucks, I WILL HOLD YOU PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE!!!!!

Anyone in the Dallas area have one installed yet? Would love to take a ride to feel what all the hype is about. I have a Power Commander and Boostmax installed now, and it makes a nice difference. Just curious as to how much better the tune is and if it's worth the risk of crossing the flash line and all that is implied from a warranty perspective. I'm safe with what I have in that department.

I had a boostmax and pedal max first

I still have a pedal max I need to sell.

Anyway.

The difference is priceless. It’s like a fine steak house vs T-Bone and eggs at Waffle House.
Waffle House is tasty, but nothing beats a properly aged prime cut of Ribeye.

I decided to try the MPT program after reading the 20 pages on the topic and have to say it is the best $700 I ever spent. Never had a tuned vehicle before and upon initial installation of the 93-PR-X was happy performance over stock but concerned about drivability and after 100 miles and the truck adapting phase it runs like butter but only better. The tune absolutely woke the beast up and I am never going back to stock except for dealer visits.

The problem with that statement is that the dealer WILL know the truck was tuned. You have to pay to play, so be prepared to fork out money for warranty issues.

I agree with this statement. Had anyone popped a motor or tore up a driveline with one of these tunes?

Learned my lesson with a Chevy LS7, glad I had left it stock.

I ordered the Ngauge and tunes, pulling the stock and going thru process now...but here's my questions:

Does the MPT tune eliminate the need for a Pedal Commander? I removed my Pedal Commander in anticipation of the tune coming in...and this morning's commute was painful. Any need for both? Any issues for both?

No need for pc any more and mpt does not recommend stacking them.. throttle response is excellent with the tune and actually may need to be dialed back a bit. Go ahead and put it up for sale.
