As of late, I've received a lot of questions and inquiries as to why i chose to go with the RPG dual shock kit upfront. I was dead set for quite some time about going LT. As like many of us, pushing our stock trucks beyond its capabilities is far too easy. Knowing that a super wide LT front end is going to handle funky unless matched with an equally wide rear end housing really steered me in the direction of RPG's setup.

Over the past several months, we have put the setup to the test and it's measly 12" of travel is mind blowing with how effortlessly and controllable the truck goes through rough terrain.

Yesterday, the trucks were put up against a track that is flat out not intended for Raptors or any full size trucks for that matter. After driving and watching the RPG dual setup, I was sold all over again. There was absolutely no rebound/hop after full compression on the biggest of hucks and charging through the rhythm sections taking rollers on the chin was honestly no big thing for the front end.

I'm sure there's some other great options out there for front end setups but for the value:performance ratio, this is an unmatched setup that I would honestly say can hang with the best of them or even possibly out perform regardless of travel numbers.

Nice pics man! Wish I could have been home to come out for that. Curious did you ever get an answer on why the back end was doing what it was doing in the whoops while we were out?

Fairly certain that's the axle wrap we were feeling. I think there's a tradeoff with the squishyness of the sprung under and axle wrap is it. I have a feeling more compression in the bypass tubes are gonna be a huge help.

I had bad axle wrap with the om tires so lot's of different variations to watch for. Now with the duratrac I have not don't know why they are a heavier tire. ? so maybe they don't brake loos as easy.
