Well there goes the element of surprise.... Thanks a lot buddy! Not only do I blame Bo, I blame guys like SNK, Outlaw, Chrisandalex, Foutz and all the other guys who are stepping up their game and going big with the Rap.
Like Chris said, my truck will no longer be my DD so it's time to have a little fun with it. I've always said one of the coolest things about the Raptor is the fact that it's a great base for a prerunner and can be modified in stages. Regardless of where you are in the various stages of the build, it is still a quality performing truck.
With that said, I will be caging the cab first. After the dust settles with the cage, 4 Link and LT upfront are on the horizon. I'm probably about 8 months out on some of the suspension mods.
As of yesterday, I ordered 3 prerunner/race seats from Twisted Stitch. They are totally custom and they are making each seat 2" wider for added comfort and the rear seat 3" shorter for better leg room and ease of access. The seats will be all carbon fiber vinyl mesh with black suede inserts. They will be heated and I am going to mount them on the factory seat rails and still retain power slide forward/back and tilt.
Here are basically what they look like:
