Thanks X!

Those stories out there about Baker are B.S.!! You seriously can't believe everything you read on the Internet because 99% of the time there is WAY more to the story then what is posted on some Internet forum. Being a business owner, I am far too familiar with ******** stories getting blown out of proportion. If those stories were entirely true, how could the guy still be in business today? His shop speaks for itself... 3 legit trophy trucks, 7200 truck, variety of buggies, and some sick prerunner projects. John Baker is a standup dude who can fab up some cool shit!! Plain and simple!!

Haha, how's the saying go, pics are worth 1000 words...No need for made up stories when I know they were facts. And those stories my friend are NOT made up. I'm pretty good friends with the owner of the red Ranger and know all to well about that back story and refused to get into his truck because Baker built it, and this is before he cut that shit off and saw how bad it was(looked good from far) also know all to well about Bakers students getting to work on customers trucks as well as him ******** them over

Has Bakers "trophy trucks or 7200's" ever won a race...Or finished one?

Your bedcage looks really good from the pics you posted, did they plate the frame where the tubes hit?

Damn!! I thought I was deleting AII's double post but I deleted my own!!!

If I recall I was saying that I can only speak from my own experience and overall I am very pleased with Baker! The cage is completely tig welded and John laid each bead himself. It was nice having their shop down the street but I probably delayed the job by checking in multiple times a day to talk shop and assess the build! :) From an aesthetics standpoint, I think the cage and bumper came out killer and I appreciate all the finish work that was put into the project. They made a template of the bumper and cage design so they can spit these out fairly quickly...

It's not plated... Should it?

Every frame needs to be plated, more importantly Ford frames need to be plated. Its a very common occurrence to see Ford frames torn apart.

Here is how the frame should be plated

This is a frame that wasn't plated

You said you were in the many times, did you see them break the spring pack down and cycle the suspension?
