Went up into Dry Fork Canyon today with the RZR. You could do this trail in a Raptor, but you might get some trail pin-striping. It is a beautiful canyon that not many people know about. Beautiful day.

Made the Raptor do some work. Yesterday towed the RZR out to the Dewey Bridge area about 30 miles east of Moab. Took the RZR to the Delores River overlook and then down to the river. Today took towed the RZR to Cameo Cliffs where we blasted out to the Wilson Arch overlook. I know the trailer and RZR probably only weigh 2,000 pounds, but it didn't even feel like anything was attached. The Raptor did great.

Are there a lot of "friendly" Raptor trails? My wife and I would like to visit that area.

We just spent several days in Moab (basecamp) before going to Raptor Assault...went to Ouray-Silverton area, lots of trails there, but the avalanches this past winter really tore up the trails, then did Canyonland NP, Gemini Trail, Arches & Willow Springs Road & ended up with a flat tire. Did not air down and I think that's the reason we ended up with the flat.....wanted to do Chicken Corners but ran out of time as was White Rim/Shafer...

I can't stress enough that it is really important to air down. No only for comfort, but to protect the tires. Think of a fully inflated balloon on a sharp rock, vs a half inflated balloon on the same rock, which would blow first? The half inflated on would just form around the rock and not burst. Off road and on sharp rocks the tires on the Raptor should be in the 14 to 18 range. If you are going off road, but a good air compressor to re inflate for the road.

Yesterday we took the Jeep up to our favorite lunch spot, Jimmy's overlook, 2,000 feet above the Colorado River overlooking Castle Valley.

Yesterday did the west end of the White Rim trail and up Taylor Canyon to Zeus and Moses. Then we hiked up the wash as far as we could easily go (about 1-1/4 miles). We even managed to see some wildlife.

Could you make a list of recommended "Raptor safe" trails in Moab and what gear you recommend for a Raptor for single vehicle travel in the area?

What air pressure do you recommend for tires in Moab???
