I'm definitely interested in Moab but...

* it's known for very challenging Jeep trails
* I'm not familiar with the area and haven't yet investigated the trails
* I assume there are trails (many) that are doable in our Raptors

I know some people I can check with to find out what's recommended for non-Jeeps.

Here's one site of many we can check out:

Hells revenge, back of the rocks, Bar M, White Rim all of Arches National Park should be doable in a Raptor...

Cannot roll with you guys this fall... I will be going back out next May.

Back to posting pics.

Well FrogTosser, it was worth the wait. Fantastic pictures and write-up - well done (and thanks)!

It should come with a bandwidth warning - those pics take a while to download even with HS internet - but they are worth it.

Your pictures show the incredible beauty and majesty of the place - I was going to post some of my favorites but there really are too many.

Thanks for taking the time to write up your trip and share your pics with us.

My list of places in Utah to visit and explore is too big - I need to get back up there soon.

Moab is epic for mountain bike riding...been there before, and being her in Wyoming at 6700 feet elevation, helped big time.

When i went to cali last week...i ran for like 9 miles easy...i needed water so i had to stop, but if i had a camel bak, i dont know how long i could have ran for. and i went mountain bike riding in montana de oro, ride was epic! and they thought i was on roids LOL...

But im terrified to bring my truck to Moab...as a few friends want to plan a trip, but again, im paranoid of falling from a cliff with the truck lol...you making it back alive gives me hope.

There are a lot of cake trails out there along with the harder stuff... make sure you buy a trail guide and you will be fine...

I used to live in Kenya so the altitude used to be an advantage... not so much anymore.

but congrats, sounds like you had a blast! be cool to actually frame some of those photos...

I already started a "i love my raptor" wall...window sticker framed, pics of my truck out at certain trails, stuck in snow...its cool and helps me remember whats so cool about this truck when i get pissed at dealerships or ****ty mechanics LOL
