Yes, I am bringing back an old thread. My antenna base was missing and I ordered one through Tasca, (not shipped yet). How is the base supposed to be secured? Maybe the factory antenna keeps it from coming up, and when aftermarket stubby types are used is allowed to rise up and blow off?

I think the factory antenna is so long it gives you a chance to see that it’s loose and sliding up before it just flies the F off.

I don't have the part number for you, but mine is always loose on the truck, constantly find myself reattaching it to the mount!

Same , I siliconed mine to keep it from blowing off .
