@t_j , this weekend was a blast! Thanks again for taking the time to create the route that ended up being some of the best trails I have been on! Not to mention the whole weekend went smoothly.

I look forward to taking a trek on the ****, that @Kmandoske, @mnblly and I took today, later this fall when the leaves change!

Agreed 100%. Awesome trails, great folks. Had a blast, Thank you Tom.

Thanks everyone for coming it was a great trip. I learned a lot about leading a group and next time I should probably try to find a co-driver so that I don't miss as many turns

Keith informed me that we missed out on some really nice trails by heading back early on sunday morning, but overall I think that was a sensible idea. Next time I need to start organizing the trip way earlier so that accommodation can be found closer to the route. Next mod will be a 50+W radio so that if I am leading people don't have to repeat the instructions to the chase vehicle.

I dropped the truck off at the dealership (didn't even wash it, service manager didn't seem to give a shit) to get all my issues (roof/shock/wheel/seat and now upfitter switches) delt with, and am sat at the airport waiting for my flight, this weekend was a great way to end on a high as I won't get to drive her again for almost 3 weeks. Hope everyone else gets their issues sorted ok, seems we all got off lightly at the end of the day. Maybe we should organize a chicago Claybar/buffing party ;)

As for another trip, its definitely going to happen and I'll email people that came to this trip before I announce it on here/FB so you can get your spots early.

Steve lets see some of those photos, and Keith your videos look really good!

Great trails....great times!

This was a great trip. Thanks Tom for mapping the trails and leading. Thanks Keith for running chase. And thanks to Mike, Big Blue, and everybody who helped in my recovery! :)

I wish I would have taken more pictures. I was having too much fun to stop and grab the camera. I didn't get any of the camp site!

Final damage check is in:

* 3 china cubes with moisture ingress
* Broken weld on turn down holding the back of the resonator in (gonna try and get the shop that did it to fix it tomorrow as its less than a month old).
* Some large pin stripes on the passenger side, I see a lot of clay bar action in my future.
* Broken detent in aux 1 (fixed under warranty)
* Some wear on the trans cooler line from the 40" behind the grill, more grinding required!! And maybe some sort of patch on the line just in case or a new line!
* Leaky connector on PSS reservoir, will tighten tomorrow

Anyone planning another run on this route? I ran from Galena to De Soto with the family this past weekend. No real serious wheeling, but fun none the less. Would be interested in doing a family friendly run if anyone had one planned.

Wow. That was a fast reply and soon too. I'll check it out. Think that weekend is already spoken for, but might be up for rolling with you all from Janesville to Mad Town if the timing is right.

Edit: just saw where you all are starting in Ill. Not going to be able to make it. Next time.
