Seems some of the rebuild shops are charging $25 each to move the perch on a front shock. I wouldn’t recommend you pay someone to do it. I ordered two new fronts from rock auto and it took about 90 seconds to move the perch.

Only reason I could see them charging if its seized but even then
it took me 90 seconds as well
