Hey guys, I have a local guy that does lifts and suspension mods at his truck accessory shop. He said he would do the mid perch for $80-$100. The only problem is that he wants instructions since he's never worked on Fox shocks before. Do any of you have them?

Also, in your opinion, would this be a good "first mod"?

Thanks

Very good first mod. But don't be surprised if after he is done or looks at the write up, he wants a little more cash. You will have to do alignment too.

I figured, but I def think its worth it! Will it look okay with stock wheels?

Of course it will, probably 70% of the guys that have gone mid perch are running stock wheels.

Also, I concur with WSI, its a 1 1/2 hour job (minimum) if you remove the shocks/springs, so $80-$100 is a great deal if he commits to it.

It is however a very straight forward job....Any experienced mechanic can do it.

Do you all recommend I do anything for the back shocks when I do the mid perch adjustment on the front shocks?

No, the rears are not adjustable, nor do they need to be. The mid perch will level out the front of the truck, the rear is already fine.
