Hey guys! We are going to be raising to mid perch as well. We have had the truck two weeks on Monday. We have already put new wheels and tires on and a few other things..but we were wondering...right now we have fuel hostage wheels 18x9 and 35/12.50/18 toyo open country muds on. In winter we will be going back to stock bc we live in northern indiana and done want to ruin our new wheels with all the salt ect. Would us adj the perch affect anything differnetly when we switch the tires out again? And does adj the perch void the warranty?

Thanks for your help! :)

Perch doesn't void warranty.

I just had my front shock replaced. The dealer even put it back to top perch for me.

Does anybody know the exact change in vehicle height? I need to know much higher my roof will be.

Thanks!

Check out previous threads from either ADD or SDHQ about perch mod. Or SDHQ website. Shows everything you need to know.

The instructions are what i gave to a company so they could help me

FX4 to RAPTOR, are you local in Vegas? If so where did you get yours done?
I am in south Florida .....a place in pompano that does all lifts and tires for trucks did it.....the mechanics had done about 10 of them so they banged it out in 45 min.....went on the alignment rack and out the door in 2 hrs

Thanks! I do remember seeing the SDHQ instructions a long time ago. I looked it up again and got the measurements. I think they are showing the top perch, which adds 2.5" - I'm guessing the mid perch is about half, so 1.25"

One of the best mods I have done to my Rig, I absolutely love the Mid Perch!

I am confused by this adjustment? What exactly are the results except you sit higher and the ride a bit rougher (due to the pre-load) on the road.

What are the benefits of doing the mid-perch? (I keep reading about it, but no one has explained it in a way I understand). I get the concept, just trying to figure out why it is better?

PM me, if we live close enough to each other, I will show you in person. But to answer from my point of view, it makes the truck look level, no more nose dives when suddenly braking, you sit up higher and it rides smoother I should have had my dealer do it when it was delivered from Ford, I love mine
