Today was bad, but that was the 1st time for me. It actually blacked out at one point and I pulled over and shut the car down and started back up. I then got a screen that it was updating.

After that it seemed normal. That never happen before but I only have it 6 months.

ALL click responses are sluggish but the music selection is the worst...

I have a solid star hard drive with about 12,000 songs on it. It is almost completely unusable if I try to browse or use voice commands. If I play a particular artist or album it takes up to a full minute to react. UG.

I had the same hard drive in my 2011 and it worked fine. Both nave units. The 2011 unit had much more ass too. This thing sounds hollow ad hell!!!

I had a my MFT freeze once.. but card was not updated.. after update I had no real issues... Just switching stations is sooooooooooooooo slowwww..

How are your folders structured? FAT32 can be slow if you have a lot of files in a single folder...

My drive has:
Music
-Artist
--Album
-Artist
--Album
--Album

with the songs for a particular album in the correct folder.

I only have about 6000 songs, but mine seems reasonably snappy.

My functions are slow as well. I use my ipod through the USB port for my music. Has anyone had the problem of their ipod switching on and start playing while the radio was on FM / AM / Satellite? Meaning, I will be listening to anything other then the USB ipod and randomly for no reason it will switch to the ipod and start playing.

I have an issue where I try to use the voice commands to make a call and it takes up to a minute or so to actually connect. I also had it black out on me one time and I had to pull over and turn the car off and back on to get it to reset. 2013 SCREW with Iphone 5 connected
