You could replace them with Black Nylon bolts.

Hex Bolt
Plain Finish
External Hex Drive
6mm length
Fully threaded
M8-1.25 metric
Coarse Threads

You used to be able to get them on Amazon. But they’re no longer available. It’s a cheap alternative that won’t rust or corrode. Just an option.

Thanks, but Pacific Wheel has a set of stainless on the way to be for $140 ish

That is excessive... should have went to mcmaster.com...

they are flanged bolts, for like 130 + shipping

mcmaster would have needed bolts and washers, and it would have been $110 ish plus shipping for the bolts and washers.

I went with the flanged bolts as I thought they would look better for only $20 more.

Stainless is the way to go. Mine have gone through two winters and still look new.
