Is the new system they have been developing for months? They stated they had to start with a new muffler baffle design to fix the ecoboost sound.

The only muffler that you can just "weld in" is the Flowmaster series 10 or 40. They can make the engine sound much less like a novice trombone player.

Not to knock anyone...

But it sounds just like all the rest.

I’ve owned two exhausts myself... and the only real difference is in how loud and how much drone they have. None of them really change the character of the sound very much.

It sounds ok though, but it is pretty loud.

Eh.... this was an epic fail for them. That was some wasted R&D time.

Once someone gets Flowmasters on, you will hear the difference in the deep tone. If you listen to other 3.5 ecoboosts with Flowmasters, you will know what I mean.

Man, I can't believe someone would want to spend $1K to make your truck sound worse. These Ecoboost motors are awesome, but its no secret they sound like shit. Why amplify a terrible sound even more?
