Max HP on stock internals

We normally say 500 RWHP-550 RWHP is the limit on stock internals. Anything past that on the stock internals and you are on borrowed time. After that then it's time to do the 6.6 stroker or one of our 6.2 HD engines.

Has anyone actually blown one up to prove this? And what gives out first?

I would imagine the rods

whats the torque rating? same as whp?

Well that wouldnt be surprising, I know the 2v 5.4 has tooth pick rods.

Im looking to possibly put a superduty 6.2l in my 93 lightning to do something a tad different. but if thats all they can handle in stock form, im probably already passed that with my stock shortblock 351w.

Maybe ill be waiting for this guy to find out
