Wrap it. Quality paint involves removing the engine, windows, interior etc. ($$$) and as mentioned, matte or satin paint is very difficult to maintain on a garaged, nice-weather-only vehicle; would look like garbage in short order on an outdoor parked, wheeled truck.

I have a different take on wrap it. I know you aren't concerned about resale, but Molten Orange is a unique color. I would not want to paint over an original factory paint job with something that unique. The only other Raptor colors that are that unique are Terrain and Ruby Red.

Just my opinion.

Unless you have deep pockets to re-spray the truck correctly, dont even consider paint...
A wrap is cost effective and as others have mentioned, easily fixed when you go offroad.
Another option is to get the truck plasti-dipped. There is a Molten Raptor here in San Antonio that has been plasti dipped with a matte clear. It makes the truck a matte molten and looks really good. Not sure if you have anyone in your area specializing in dipped cars, but here in SA it cost $600 to spray the whole truck.
I was thinking of doing mine just to get a matte silver, and some paint protection.
look into it.

Or buy a can and a decent sprayer and you can have it done yourself for much cheaper.

I have done both paint and a wrap. I was much happier with the paint job but like others have said this job was upwards of 10k. I had a car wrapped back before wrapping was cool. 3 years later the truck had to be blasted and grinned because the glue and residue would not come off. Im sure technology is much better than when I had the wrap done but depends on how deep your pockets go. I always prefer a nice paint job over a wrap any day. Here is my truck painted with flat clear. Check out ALSA CORP scratch proof vinyl if you really want to spend some money. Good luck

Eh, let's be honest, molten orange is really the only unique color, I see terrain and ruby ALL the time. I wish they'd stop making these trucks in a hurry so I could stop seeing so may of them.

They did stop. The last Raptor was made 3 weeks ago. :)

Wrapped my ride back in 2011 it has held up well with all the abuse thrown at it. The hood has faded a little but not enough to bother me. I have decent scratches on the side panels which are only noticeable up close.

I would wrap her again in a second.
