I can get one in canada for 2500 under , and that was the first visit. I will do better.

Surely, nothing like the '14 price still? Until those return I still consider this an overpriced beast in Canada

Figured you guys might like this! So this dealer called me all excited a couple months ago and said he had an allocation for me and to come down and place an order for msrp. I get there and his GM walks out and says yeahhh sorry but I can't go a dollar below 12k above sticker and that's a hell of a deal considering we're selling the rest at 15k. I kindly told him to eff off and thank you for wasting my time and walked out. So the rep decided to "check in" with me today... here's our convo thought it was kind of funny with his response.

Just saw how you saved the dealer in your phone...died laughing. I guess when you are making so many calls better to separate based on greasiness instead of names.

Haha, my dealer now has 7 Raptors on the lot...they keep buying them from other dealerships and marking them up....they want 30k Adm for each....most have been sitting there at least a month, so hopefully they lose money on this and learn their lesson... I'm all for free markets, but this is straight greed...

Dealer closest to me has 4 raptors now. All marked up $15k. Been there over a month. Thought these were flying off the lots!?!? Greedy bastards!! Even if I had the money I wouldn't pay a dime over MSRP and even that is pushing it. Ordered my 13 for $3500 below MSRP. Maybe in a year or two I'll order a new one. Hopefully they'll have a twin turbo 5.0 by then

Some tried same thing with GT350. My local dealer has 7 of those on lot, and now with '18 5.0 bump in power they might sit there and awhile.

Yeah, I was looking at the stickers to see where they were all ordered from, and 5 of the 7 were from dealers across the US...ones that they paid more to buy the allocations from other dealerships, or at least that's what the salesguy told me. Even if they wanted to sell them at MSRP, they have already paid a markup themselves...but the free market doesn't care what losses you've already taken...so Im guess when they are still sitting their in 4 months, they will renegotiate their position...haha

Yes... my quote on a 17 was nothing like what i paid for my 14. Not even close. 18,000 more actually. So far we are at 2500 under and i still dont know if ill take it. 5,000 under and i will.

Funny story....I was calling dealerships that had them delivered already and was calling a place in Foxboro Mass (Rodman Ford) that was supposed to have the exact magnetic one I was looking for, and they said they just sold it to one of the Patriots...haha.

I do - Markup City USA. I replied to their online ad for a truck, which had the sticker price listed - and they basically said add $25k to that price (GT350 was $10k over and the Focus ST was $5k over). I passed and since then have had about 15 phone calls, emails and txt messages from them.
I got my '13 new for sticker (from another dealer) and even then I felt like I left money on the table. I can't help but think that whoever is paying those steep premiums is going to get killed on the depreciation.
