I have the Recaro seats in a Race Red '20. When it was delivered, the sales manager, the dealer owner, and several salesman were all saying how great the option looked, and that they would have to start ordering it. They were all agreeing that I did a great job ordering it like I did, because none of them thought it would look right, and had in fact, never ordered a single Recaro package up to that time because they were afraid of the blue.

I have had my truck over a year now, many people have seen it, not one single person said, "Oh my god, it's blue inside! Why did you do that! It hurts my eyes!". It's much darker than it looks in the flash pictures. It's been the opposite, people sit in it and comment how nice the interior is. The seats are also AWESOME to sit in. As a guy that has had 3 back surgeries, I think I'm a good judge of comfortable, supportive seats.

I heard they are updating the open door chime as well to match the 70's **** interior, with 70s **** music.... boom chicka bow wow, boom chicka bow wow...open the door and its 1976 all over, you will love it!

I saw the recaros on a couple trucks when I was looking around a couple years ago. I thought it would be nice with the right exterior truck, and I don't have a problem with it being an available option. The problem now is that's not just the seats, but much of the interior trim now. And it's not just the blue color but orange stitching. And it's no longer an option, but I requirement to get factory 37s.

I don't think I would have gone with race red and blue interior, but I can see it working. Would you have made the same choice of race red, blue interior, orange stitching?

I like it better to be honest. It is a very dark blue.
I think it's aliitle more risky of a color and different, maybe that's why alot of folks aren't on board with it.. I was against it at first but after viewing multiple pics I'm fine with it. I think it'll be cool to own and should look sharp with the Iconic Silver I'm ordering. Plus those 37's are a must have for me.

When I ordered mine, I was real hesitant on the blue until I went and looked at one in person. The blue looks much more muted in person, than what it looks like in the flash pictures. If my truck got totaled tomorrow and I needed to order another one, I would get the Recaro again, mostly because they are so much more supportive and comfortable for me. I have to think it would still look good, or Ford wouldn't offer it that way.

Why does everyone keep bringing up the Gen 2 Recaro seats? They are not comparable, and the entire cabin design is different, too.

It is hard to tell with the lighting, but it not clear to me that the blues are even the same color between G2 and G3.

And on the G3s, every upholstered surface is blue, even in the rest of the cabin.

I think the G2 seats look great. The G3s are an abortion.

I agree, G2 looks great. Gen 3 really is abhorrent, same with the all blue limited interior. Simply can't understand why they do that.
