Posted this in the wrong place originally so adding it here. Hopefully the video is in the right format and can be seen. Underside of my truck with 130,000. I plan on changing the trans fluid, transfer case fluid, and both diffs. I looked under it today and it seems like there is some sort of leak but I don’t have too much knowledge on this stuff. Any input on what I should inspect and/or replace?

So if I'm guessing right here, it looks like the oil (fluid) is travelling from the front of the oil pan area to the rear, which would be normal (flow physics). Now what is actually leaking? If you are able to pressure wash that area really clean, it might be easier to find the source. Might be where the oil filter goes on or one of the hoses there is where I would start. Unless it's dripping down from the upper engine area?

Hard to tell where it's coming from or even what it is but since you're going to change all the fluids you can eliminate some potential sources, namely transmission pan gasket (get a new one) and oil dran plug (replace the plug sealing washer). Kinda looks like it could be the transmission tailshaft seal leaking but might not be. I agree with @CoronaRaptor , pressure washing will help. Are you doing all the fluid changes yourself?

I’m pretty positive that it is not coming from the engine area. I’ll pressure wash and see what comes up.

Haven’t decided if I’m going to do it myself or not. Watching some how to’s on YouTube right now.

Right on. Engine oil, front & rear diffs and transfer case are cake, transmission isn't bad but opinions vary on flushing or trying to pull the return line and drain more (I did just pan drop, replace filter, added Performance Automatics dipstick & tube, refilled). The stock transmission dipstick is...tiny heh. Good luck, let us know what you find!

Yeah OP , I’m one of the people who say don’t flush the whole tranny, do what Benbb says and just drop the pan and clean it, change the filter and refill or just leave it alone. Good luck!

Cleaned everything up and it seems like it’s a reddish fluid from the transmission pan. So I assume when I do the fluid change I’ll need a new gasket for that. Will I also need to go ahead and replace the gasket for the front and rear diffs?
