make sure all the piping yer using is stainless. biggest reason this will be a somewhat expensive mod is because they have to use a tig welder. if you want it welded anyway. If yer gona weld it I would suggest having them take out the whole exhaust system at the flange and Weld in a straight pipe in place of the resonator, put the magnapack with a y-pipe on it in place of stock muffler and then put the stock tail pipes into the y-pipe, tig weld it all nice and complete around all the pipes. put the exhaust system back in, cut off the two hangers from the stock muffler, place them back in the rubber hangers on the truck and have them weld them onto the pipe or muffler (where ever they end up) this way you have a solid system like when it was stock.

*update*

Got the magnapack installed !!

Love the sound when start up! and not to loud when driving in city and hwy.. just perfect!

I took the muffler out and left the resonator..

First time I got on the truck.. kinda hate the delay on power.. this is why ppl get 5 star tunes?

Overall.. best bang for the buck! cost me $175 for everything!

Yes the tune will help with delay. I also feel that a cai will help the delay a little buy a tune will really wake that beast up

I understand that. I just now about to get a tune. I'm 5,000 miles away from warranty ending so I'm gonna get one after that. Never wanted them to be able to blame a tune if something went wrong.
