I've been looking around and can't seem to find an answer about the install of a magnapack on a 2012 6.2 SCREW.
My goal is to have the exit and tips be as close to factory as possible but sound better by adding the magnapack. Is it right that I need to also order the magnaflow Y-pipe ? If anyone has added a magnapack with the stock dual style exit behind the back right tire and has a picture that would be awesome.

3" Magnapack and a y pipe thats single 3" in and double 2.5" out would be needed. Possibly a small section of pipe as well

Thanks for the help, so if I purchase part # 10778 and part # 14419 from magnaflow and take it to a muffler shop they should be able to give me what I'm looking for?

That will work, still gonna need a small lenght of pipe, depending where the muffler is placed, 3" if you push it more to the rear, 2 1/2 if you push it toward the front, make sure they use Stainless, your truck has 409ss on it, magnaflow is 308ss, nothing less than 409ss,

And if you want to get crazy, #14149, #14159 race mufflers.

Just checked those part numbers. The muffler shop will be able to make that work no problem!

Do the race mufflers make the truck louder? Any cons with using a race muffler? Im going with Stainless works long tube headers since I'm trying to get the truck stupid loud, but don't want to lose any performance, only gain.

Here's the formula for 'stupid loud' :)

SS Works Long Tubes and H pipe kit. Cut off the nipples that are reduced down to 2.5" Run daul 3" pipe to the Race Mufflers, but keep em up as far forward as possible. 3" pipe from mufflers to 3" dumps just before the rear axle.

But...........install a pair of Helmholtz Resonators into the 3" pipe between mufflers and dumps;)

Loudest

The extra pipes running back to the front have 2" caps tig welded to them. They are tuned to cancel out 130-150hz and will make a straight piped Raptor have much less drone at highway speeds. But, if you're not sensitive to drone don't waste the time:)
