thats a good deal @Nodak_Raptor i noticed that later, i contacted lowrance and they said along as i ordered both items within the rebate dates i qualified..so the deal was even better

May be time for me to get a Lowrance. I am pretty confused by the versions. The Lowrance website seems to be very nautical oriented. If I buy the Chartplotter version of the HDS7M Gen2 do I need to also buy offroad maps? What maps are available and cost? I would want maps for the Southwest.

thinking the same thing about the maps for offroad or topo.
I did see a baja version that come with the external antenna on the lowrance factory outlet site.
Works out to the same price as this with rebate.
