Do you guys also wait for the low oil light to come on before checking your oil? ;)

You make such good points, it baffles me they even bothered with a fuel gauge.

I didn’t see the dipstick for the washer fluid. Can you tell me where it is?

I've had lots of Fords and none have ever had a low washer fluid warning sensor/light. It's just not something they do apparently.

I stand corrected, I hit the washer fluid this morning on my SHO and a low washer fluid light came on. First I've ever seen in any of my Fords.

I must be old. I check the oil with a dip stick and then look right at the transparent washer fluid tank. So old in fact that I still check the tire pressure with a gauge rather than a sensor. I have been a driver for close to 40 years and have managed quite well without the magic "sensors".

This isn't about what is "manageable" it's about lacking features in 2018 on a vehicle that runs 70k.

The washer fluid bottle has the sensor , it is not connected. My guess is they did not want false alerts when at high angles off roading when the bottle is half full
