Low Temperature Fault

My raptor won’t start. It is -40 C here and I just replaced the battery. When I tried to start it nothing happens and I get a message on the navigation screen that says “low temperature fault”. Any suggestions ? It’s a 2012 and not under warranty so I don’t want to have to tow it to the dealership if I don’t have to.

Is -40c the same as -40 Fahrenheit?

any way you can warm the battery before starting or trying to start? That’s pretty freakin’ cold.

The old fords with dog dish hub caps worked good in the cold. Pop 1 off and fill with gas . Light and put under oil pan. I do not recommend this

Is your block heater plugged in and working?

The low temp fault is for the Nav I believe.
Raptors are all over Alaska and Canada first I've heard of this problem.

I did a quick little search and I found one person with a F150 saying he has to play with the key and the shifter.
And leaving the key on ACC for 10 minutes to warm up the electronics, says it works for him all the time when it gets that cold up in Canada.

Worth a shot.

2011 nothing on the dash just the warning on the screen
