Low mount Intercooler (with fan) question?

Totally makes sense why the little fan on the intercooler sounded like a harrier jet trying to take off. The stock intercooler is tiny.

I thought that too, dont forget the condenser as well....

I was assured with the fans pulling air from the back it wouldnt be a an issue though.

Air flows through intercoolers, they are not a wall. Then add in the fans pulling air through the radiator and there wont be any problems.

I wonder if adding the raptor name to the full race kit makes ADD able to charge $500 more for it? Or do you guys think it's actually different?

I'm sure in a way it does. I've got a corvette Z06 and upgrades are way more than a base. Why? Because they build 1/10 the volume of parts covering the same r&d, tooling, etc. We call it the Z06 tax.

I'd ask full race to confirm. I'm not sure if the Raptor requires a different size cooler, mounting bracket, or different piping sizes compared to a normal Ecoboost.

True, but it will definitely reduce airflow, plus heat that air. Who knows how significantly, but I'd at least think that the fan will have to run more often and perhaps the temps will be a bit higher in extreme conditions. Full Race makes a radiator replacement as well, and I wonder if the two aren't best purchased as a set. If nothing else, the bright aluminum would look cool under the grill.
