Looks like Gen3 will have the same power numbers as Gen2-Confirmed

So the Gen 3 will have identical HP and Torque as a Gen 2, that is ******* weak! I mean holy crap Ford, you could not have bumped it a lousy 10 HP via a software change just to make buyers feel they are getting something better than the previous generation.

maybe we will see Ford change their tune by giving it a slight bump before deliveries happen, at least we can hope. and realistically they should because I see the flip side to this situtation every single time a new 911/GT3/RS car gets released, everyone loves how Porsche has pushed the engineering of the platform itself and they throw the people a bone with a slight HP/TQ bump and it makes everyone happy.

originally I was hoping for 50HP/50TQ over the Gen 2 but like you said, a simple 10hp would give buyers a sense of getting more for their $.

500/550 would have had everyone dancing in the streets. Well maybe not that far, but that would be the typical increase we have seen before from Gen to Gen. And it would have been very acceptable and welcomed. 525/575 or more would really have stired things up. I just think people look for “Improvement” all around in a new model. So yes even 10-20 HP is something.
