Hi all,

As the title states- looking for a dealership that will provide the best deal for an ESP through Ford on my 2018 with 43,000 miles.

I am in Southern California but willing to buy from any dealership able to provide a plan at a reasonable price.

If anyone purchased one recently, please post what you paid and how many miles/years the coverage is for so I have an idea. I know this is all very negotiable.

The best quote I’ve received thus far is 6 years, 50,000 miles (so until 93,***) for $3,000.

Thank you all in advance!

Mike
I would make sure you know what you’re getting.
50,000 is likely total, not additional.

For information: just purchased the Ford ESP PremiumCARE plan recently from Zeigler, did it all online. My truck was just past its basic warranty of 36K miles. Flood and Granger only sell Ford policies as extensions only if your Basic Warranty is still in effect, at least that was the online message I received when trying to get a quote from each of them.

6 year plan (from date of purchase of the warranty, so an additional 6 years from now), super easy. Had to get an inspection at the local dealer first, them's the rules. Flying colors. The rest was online from Zeigler, super easy. I read earlier in this thread that the "PAYINFULL" promo code was available, and it worked in my case - a $250 discount at checkout from their online quote. Nice...

Hopefully I keep the truck long enough to make this worthwhile...we'll see.

I have a Gen 2 with ~40k miles and was considering this as well.

Question -- If I get a stage 2 tune does that void the warranty?

It really depends on the dealership and on what you are trying to get covered under warranty. If the tune caused the failure most likely they won't cover it. I have heard of some dealerships that will void the entire warranty if they figure out you have a tune. Your best bet is to talk to your local dealership ahead of time or find a mod friendly one.
