You won’t need racers or laser LEDs for east coast off road work. From what you described, I’d go:

1x SAE
1x wide corner
1x driving combo

per side, in that order. I’m speaking in Baja Designs language, and will defer to others on the Rigid language.

They should be identical. The spot lenses and the spot portion of the combo lenses are both advertised as 9 degrees. The WC portion of both is advertised as 42 degrees.

I want to be able to use those 9 degree spots separately on straight highways, I was even considering the 6 degree Squadron Racers for that.

I hear you. I just wasn’t that much more impressed with the spot distance than the combo lens. It’s deceptive though, you have to look for distance objects and the volume of light appears more from the corner or combo lens.

Just recently purchased my 2020 agate black raptor and have been looking at SO many different fog light kits .

I really want to know which are the best to choose from...

The price obviously vary quite a bit but I see the going price tends to be around $800 and I don't want to drop the doe on one that isn't worth it.

Ive seen some rigid's and some KC's ive liked but am looking to see what others have installed and what they think of them.

Id be interested in seeing or hearing about any other added on or modified lights too.. im looking to eventually get more then just the fog lights.

Pics would be awesome too

Welcome to the club! You're going to love your Raptor, but hate how much you spend on mods for it :)

Welcome to our world, LED lighting. It's what we know best.

So Baja Designs makes the best lights in my opinion. Lifetime warranty, made here in the United States from MOSTLY locally sourced parts as well. They allow you to swap the lenses out whenever you want so you're not stuck with a particular pattern.

What is important to a good light, are the brackets as well. There are a lot of really cheap brackets on the market that are made overseas, and then there are a few of us who make them here in the United States. Our brackets are made right here on Long Island actually. We make them out of 11 gauge stainless steel and then powder coat them black as well. We also offer a lifetime warranty on our brackets because they are sure to last.

What is important in choosing a lighting setup, is being able to aim that light where you want. You don't want to get stuck with a kit that doesn't let you aim your lights, because every truck is different in how it's operator drives it. And every truck has a different lighting setup. Our brackets offer you the most adjustments out of any other bracket on the market. You can mount 3 cube lights easily while having complete control over aiming them up/down/left/right/forward/back.

We have a few kits to choose from and the choices can be overwhelming.

Our Baja kits start at $729 and you can either build your own kit, if you know what patterns you want OR choose from one of the 3 pre-configured kits.

The Sportsmen Kit is a $729 kit that gets you up and running with some great lighting: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-sportsmen/

Brackets2__89914.1580995578.jpg

It includes everything you need, including our popular wiring harness (an all-in-one harness that makes installation a breeze).

If you know what patterns you want, our Build Your Own kit is ideal, as you can choose from SAE rated fog lights up to Squadorn Pros, which give you a TON of light.

If you want to save some $$ you can go with the Rigid Radiance Kit. it's priced at $549 and gives you everything you need as well

The radiance lights feature a back-light, which is popular. While not the brightest lights out there, they are popular due to the back-lighting and price point. Again our kits include EVERYTHING you need to get started.

Shoot me a PM if you need help. We have a warehouse FULL of lighting and sure do know our Raptors.

Also check out our video that demonstrates just how flexible our triple fog kits are:

Lots of options out there, and it might come down to what you are willing to spend. From personal experience, I would AVOID anything Rigid and look at Baja Designs. BD’s customer service and warranty are miles above Rigid.

It works very well. I went with the bezel kit from offroad alliance. Makes the install look factory to me. S1 wide corner lights (With extra amber lens to match ford marker lights), BD squadron Pro driver combo, and BD SAE lights. I run the S1 amber and the SAE lights interchangeably (and sometimes simultaneously) around town and never get blinked. The drivers combo are crazy bright for their size and do a great job for the little bit of country/off-road driving I do at night. For my routine driving I think this is the best of both worlds for budget and performance. Bezel kit, wiring, and the 6 lights were around $1100. If I ever need more light Id mount some XL’s or the LP6’s somewhere else.

There's definitely no shortage of options when it comes to fog lights. For that OEM fit and finish, our stainless steel, bolt on bezel kit is a great option. We also manufacture a highly adjustable universal bracket that suspends three pairs of lights. Both are great options, just depends on what kind of look your after.

We're also huge fans of Baja Designs as well as Rigid. Whatever you need and no matter what you're budget, we have a solution.
