Looking at a raptor 7k miles 12.7mpg

Idk how you guys get the mileage you do. I feel I drive my truck fairly conservatively and I am at 14.4. This includes a long highway trip back from AL where I also averaged just under 15.

I agree. Is so subjective. Hand calculated, which gas? how hard do you accelarte? etc. I picked my Raptor up in WV and drove it back to Utah with a teenage son driving half the time. We averaged 15.9 across the US. Most of that was around 75 MPH or so and a couple of spontanious offroad adventures along the way. "Slow down and take the next right. We are in Daniel Boone National Forest and theres a dirt road coming up" or "Moab is 30 minutes a way, should we go hit the Shafer switchbacks since we are so close?"

When I bought my used 2018 the computer MPG was 18.5.
Pretty sure the previous owner drove mostly 2 lane rural roads at 55mph.

After 12k miles over last 4 months, mixed suburbs/hwy, it’s settled at 13.8 lol.
Tires at 32, 85mph cruising speeds and heavy foot.

I was averaging combined mid 17s stock and mid 16s now with 37” tires and engine tune.
