Hey all,

Wanted to get a thread going about warranty lengths and even cost if you are willing to share.

If/when I pull the trigger, I likely will spring for one. Anyone had any success with a really long term one like 7-10 years, 150k. If I go with the raptor, I would keep it long term so it's nice to know what a legit extended warranty costs on these beasts.

Cheers!

(Apologies if this exists, didnt see it)

i got a 10/100 $0 deductible for $2800 from the dealer. the way i see it thats well worth it for a 71k vehicle loaded with expensive stuff. if the 8 inch touchscreen craps out past the factory warranty that thing just paid for itself. and if i sell the truck before it runs out i can get the balance back.

I agree. You hope you don't need it, but if you do, happy you have it.

10/100k is prolly what I would go for as well. Never heard of more than 100k, do they even exist?

I believe ford offers up to 8/150. Mine goes above the ford warranty and covers secondary parts if something fails and damages an unrelated part.

If buying used, the warranty cost is typically around 1k per year and 12k miles per year. I recently purchased a 17 and paid a little under 3 k for a 3/36 warranty. Flood ford is great, but not applicable to cars over a certain mileage.

I have a 5/125 platinum warranty (only diamond was higher and only difference is payment life insurance). Think they charged me around $3k for it.

As others have said. Floodfordesp.com is legit. It's the same thing you would buy at the dealer good at ALL ford dealers, sold by and backed by Ford. I paid $1900 for 8yr/100k bumper to bumper including light replacement/ key replacement/rental car 1st day and rental car extended. If you buy any other warranty you are at risk and Floodford sells at below employee cost so it's not possible to get as good of a deal from the dealer.
