Thanks for the welcome. Should I post the update on some of the issues I am having here or start a new thread?

Could do both. Starting a new thread would highlight the issues more for those browsing to help.

So here is where I am at with the truck:

Three week old truck, to me. 2010 with 170K, 6.2 engine.
Last week, it started shuddering while driving and then died on me, a total of five times.
It started back up after I turned it off and started it again, then the CEL light started flashing a bunch of times and the truck started driving very rough.
The last time it died, the CEL stayed on.
I found a friend of a friend who used to be a tech at a ford dealership and took the truck to him.
He hooked up the scanner and the only Code was P2610.
He thinks the ECM needs to be reprogrammed and it should be fine after that.
The truck does have the following issues, according to him.
  1. Moog ball joints, he prefers OEM and the guy has three Ford trucks in his driveway.
  2. One of the exhaust pipe that goes over the rear axel is starting to rust, I will get it fixed.
  3. Tires need rotated.
  4. He thinks the shocks are too soft, but I was told by the PO that the shocks were rebuilt 20K ago by a shop in Minneapolis.
I have an appointment at the Ford dealership for this Friday and the tech who works on the programming issues has over 25 years of experience.
I really love the truck and want to keep it for the foreseeable future.

More update, the Ford dealership says it needs nothing. and they can't explain the stalling.
I guess I will just keep driving it.
