It doesnt lock the rear end, but I have had no problems with a one-wheel-peel doing this on dirt or on snow/ice. I dont really get too loud with it on pavement so I cant speak on that.
Pretty sure we are looking at two-wheel-peel. OP wants the rear locked, so the GEN2 doesn’t do it at any speed like the GEN1 does

Well, the Gen 1 has such little power and torque, with peak torque at such a high RPM, there is no risk to the rear diff when locked, so it isn't a problem.

While completely disagreeing with you, that did make me laugh.

With that said, was Ford fixing a lot of Gen 1 rears under warranty? Is that why for the Gen 2 they removed that feature? Obviously the Gen 2 makes plenty of low end torque and sounds to me like Ford eliminated a costly problem before it could start.

There were a few broken axles on the gen 1

That is my thoughts too. Seen guys multiple times ruin the rearend with it locked, especially when the rear is spinning in loose dirt or mud and then hits hard dirt, snap. I know when I have gone to Baja, the TRR lead tells everyone not to run it locked because of possibly issues of it breaking and then we are stuck in the desert, limping with just the front and we all know how bad the IWE's are. Plus the axle for the GEN1 has been on some major shortages with Ford in the past too, especially the older 34 spline ones and the only choice was to get a Yukon or find something in a junk yard.
