So was there any solution to this limp mode issue that Ellismcdan09 posted?
My 2012 Raptor is now doing the exact same thing.
After going into limp mode, I stop the truck for several minutes and restart and it goes back to normal. Drove it to my mechanic, he scanned it, but there were no codes.
He says it has to happen while he's driving and scanning the truck, so he wants me to wait until it happens on a more regular and consistent basis.
I don't know when that will be. It's happened about 5 times in the last 3 days.
Any solutions out there?
