I wouldn't call it a glare. Rather a partially illuminated hood and it's nothing distracting in my opinion.

On my tux black hood, it just illuminates the hood no glare, what MB said!!!

This is the same for me with a silver truck with no graphics. It's not even remotely distracting.

Has anyone tried the amber or red covers in dusty conditions?

It is all very soft sand here, so want to know which cover would give the best visibility through the dust when running through the desert on night drives.

Are the covers sold individually or as a pair?
