That was the exact pic that made me want to see a dropped raptor

This was mine being 'slammed' the other weekend.

I don't mind being in the minority here, but I like the lifted look. Maybe not quite that high, but I think this truck does look good with a dominating presence.
Functionality? Yeah, the truck ain't gonna do what Ford intended as well anymore (or, at least, as often...). I can't tell all the parts that were modded but it's likely a SkyJacker rear spring kit and I dunno up front (but the front sway bar is still on /facepalm!).

If (When?) I had money to burn I would build a lifted Raptor with over 24" of suspension travel and a mild lift. But I would do it with a 4-link setup and airbags etc. so that it would still be nimble in the high speed areas and jumps as well as being able to clear larger obstacles in slow speed wheeling.

But I love this truck the way it is, and am content with how it works. This thread had some inciteful posts on what the lifted one looked like, but I think if some people go back and look at it - functionality aside, it does kinda look kick ass.

His truck, his money. He can paint a tiny weiner and some big ass balls on the side if he wants to. It would be fitting.

As much of a waste it is. Having the big fenders fits with it being a big lifted truck. Like said before take a nicely optioned f150 throw it on some aftermarket fenders and it would be cool.
