I'm not a hunter but have relatives that are, they usually gut the thing where it lies and quarter it, then drag the pieces back to the truck, unless its a deer. Is it a lot different where you are. You make it sound that you're stealing it from a game reserve and taking off quickly, lol. Don't mean to come across the wrong way here, just curious is all. I'm hunting with friends but it's not easy to load a 200kg elk.

Here we shouldn't quater it, we need to transport the piece to a " buying point" and after we can do whatever we want.
Same with boars, nowadays with the African swine fever, we cannot paunch those no more on the field to leave at less blood as possible.
Asa I will find my aptor and made the "conversion" I will post picture.
The "ramboxes" will be later because I don't have the time until february (hunting season
)
