wow, beautiful

I’ve been using “Deep mud/snow” when it’s more than a foot deep. Seems to do great. We made it past every single stuck vehicle out there today (except the a-holes that parked in the middle of the road. Waited tell they moved). I left the rear diff locked and had to try twice to make it up one hill.

I’ve never driven such a capable vehicle. Went down a deserted road today through 30” drifts and constant 18” snow. Only got nervous a few times because I had no idea where the road was and where the rivers are.

I need a winch and some tire chains for the rear!!!

just got back from a snow run in NM.
dropped the BFG's to 23psi and never once had an issue. from icy roads to bumper deep snow on the trail, this thing is a beast.

(I'll get the pics loaded up later)

Awesome...thanks guys. I’m excited to test this thing out later this month. I’ll stick with the stock K02s for now and will need to decide between these or the Ridge Grapplers when it’s time to replace them.

now to decide where to spend the tire money I just saved....winch and FMIC?

Just got back from a hunting weekend.. The off grid cabin is 1/2 mile off the road.. many drifts and more than a foot of snow pulling a trailer with an ATV.... (ATV was unloaded obviously in this pic).. Nothing to brag about regarding hunting, but the Raptor made this trip uneventful...

I have to admit, 90% of the time my Raptor is on the pavement.. but the 10%, like this weekend, it was awesome to have the capabilities of a Raptor.

Re your wipers off the windshield, do you find the windshield wiper heater not very effective in heavy snow/ice, ie takes too long to work, etc?

After an accumulation of snow on the windshield, the effect of the wipers being frozen to the windshield can cause a somewhat unwanted result.

It's a very common sight in mountain towns and areas that get a bunch of snow.

This is my first winter with the Raptor in MT. So far I've only gone through 8-10 inches of powder and packed stuff. I am running stock tires and around 38 psi all around. I also have 240 lbs of sand in the back as well. I typically keep it in normal/ 4A mode and it hasn't come close to slowing down. One of the best snow vehicles I've had, except for a Kubota with loaded tires ;-)
