What have you guys done to help prevent theft of your expensive LED light bars?

I have locking nuts and for the covers I drilled a hole through the center of the bolts and threaded a cable through and locked under the hood...

novel idea on the cable, but it's so thin gauge if they're bringing a ratchet and wrench to unbolt them, a pair of dikes will snip that in a heartbeat.

but if somebody wants them they'll get them, and it may be enough to deter someone with that extra step.

if you have an alarm system, you could run a wire through the same way, and have it wired to a relay and to ground, if the circuit is broken by snipping the wire to undo the bolts, the alarm is set off.

Ya lets face it if they want anything they will get it.. I just didnt want the punk teenager taking it off at the store so he has a trophy he can set on his shelf...

yep I'm with you. I always run locking lug nuts on my trucks. Some guys say "that won't stop anybody". Well it's not entirely true. Yes it won't stop a theif that really wants them and knows the tricks to pop them off without the lug key, but it will stop some retard punk kid from snagging them. Not everyone is smart enough to get around the simple security features. lol
