Keep in mind a good auto upholstering company could foam pad and leather cover the Ford Raptor console lid. That's what I did to mine. The additional padding is very nice.

Cost: $100 for leather, foam padding, and installation; $25 for embroidery

Any chance the company that made yours would sell it as a "kit"???

Embroidering copyright logos and then selling it is risky. You'd have to get someone to do a one-off that so as not to draw the attention of the company with the copyright.

That said, the upholstery guy would do the padding and leather covering, but I had to do without my center console lid for about a week. But most any automotive interior company in your town could just as easily do it without dealing with shipping costs to and from.

I would be OK with out the logo. I could possibly have that done here. You have to understand my situation...I really live in the boonies..... no upholstery shops with in 60-80 miles. Even my dealer is nearly 90 miles from me and I can't just go in and order a factory one.:emotions122::emotions122:

Thanks for a kick in the shorts to wake me up!!! I had not thought of doing it "locally" by an upholstery shop.:hail::hail:

As I've said, I live in the boonies but..... I needed a trip to town (45 miles to a real town) to get a bunch of other stuff done. I made some phone calls to upholstery shops. I found one that was willing to do it quickly.

I got to town at 8am, removed the lid and left it at the shop. Did my other business and was back at the shop at 11am. I would have gotten out of there in 5 min but it took 15 min to pry the help off my truck :laughing1::laughing1::laughing1:

Oh yeah...$65.00 :party28::party28:

It looks like you had it padded. How do you like the feel on the elbow? Wayyyy better isn't it?

YES, Waaaay better on my elbow!!

Funny thing about this job. The leather is thick and has a lot more grain pattern than the seats. It's a perfect match to the door and dash, yet it really goes well with the seats too because of the stitching. Couldn't be happier with the job :party28:

I also just installed the leather wrapped console lid as well as the instrument panel top wrapped in leather. It looks great. Here are some pics.
