thanks to everyone for replying. to answer the question, you don't have to be a supporting member to get this badge, just if you are also a supporting member you will have both badges and won't lose any benefits.

What if we are not a supporting member? I currently work for Border Patrol is that considered law enforcement?

Makes no difference whether or not you also choose to be a supporting member, we still want you guys to get this badge, it's just a little "Thanks" from FRF. We're not the first forum to do it, but we think it's appropriate.

And yes, you're getting one of these badges too.
I have 2 buddies in the Border Patrol, they are Federal Agents. One has been shot at more than once, and they get to carry guns on airplanes, etc. You guys absolutely qualify.
