Buy the cheapest base color and just wrap it.

Frankly Id never buy a Mystic Raptor...its just too flashy for me. The Raptor kinda already doesn't blend in very well. However, fast forward 10 years and you'll have people beating down your door to buy it.

A mystic Dark Horse might get me though lol

The lack of better color choices is exactly why I went with Code Orange. I love the Cyber Orange Metallic on my Shelby, and would absolutely love this color on my truck. The paint changes color depending on the lighting. In the direct sunlight, it's basically a gold color.

I was beyond upset when they got rid of code Orange in 24, I ended up going with basic white thinking I might wrap it one day. And my 17 and then shortly owned 23R (I found a deal on, then traded to the 24r order) were both avalanche( which I loved).

In retro spec I after seeing a shelter green in person after my order was already built, I would have went that color. It looks great in person!

While maybe not the exciting color the OP was thinking of, but whenever Ford brings back Terrain, or a close variation, that's when I will find a way to buy an R.

I bought the 2024 in Avalanche Grey. I love this color. I had a 2018 in Black. Got tired of seeing all the swirl marks on black. The 2023 Antimatter Blue Metallic was sharp. Like most have stated, the 2024 Shelter Green was not a good color. I didn’t want the Orange, Red, or White. White looks better on a car or SUV. Cost is most likely an issue for Ford with providing many color options. Hopefully everyone gets the color they want. If you’re considering a new model, the technology and styling is much improved. Don’t wait.
