I have no clue how Ford did it in 2010, but my 2012 has the key and remote in one.

i got a '12 with that setup

Key/Fob combo here on 2012. Replaced my battery in my main key with less than 10,000 miles on it. Constant button psi in pocket yields short battery life. My sweet little service writer informed me batteries are warrantied daily on this key set up and there testing yields my situation but they replace batteries anyway.

My 2011 came with the all in one. And ditto on the short battery life.

My 2013 is like pictured above. I had them cut me an extra key without remote. It is smaller & less bulky. They wanted $40 but I got it free.

The 10 xlt didn't have remote start bird. I'm going to look around here at work and see if we have any more 10 f150's and see what key they have.

What I mean is the xlt had the option so they used the key. The Raptor didn't have the option in 2010.

My 2010 has the old school key, which I actually prefer since I use an aftermarket alarm & remote.
