Awesome work.
However, I request that we receive a private "FRF" copy containing only Raptor noises.
Don't know if we can pull that off but here are some pics of the truck during the transformation
how it looked when we received it
KB is a tall guy and the cage that was already in the truck was very close to his head. Turned out to be much more labor intensive than we had hoped for. Had to cut out the whole top of the cage and redo it to fit him comfortably from front to back.
This is all the bump travel you get out of this thing before the tracks start to rip apart fiberglass
Fitting the trax early on.
The original plan for the exterior cage was to make it similar to handrails for snowboarders to jib and board slide off of. We were also going to mount plexi glass on the top of the rear section to act as a funbox, but as the project moved along, the original vision changed a bit and it ended up being geared more for getting into the backcountry vs. being a mobile snowboard park. Since this pic, we changed the upper cargo box to a more sturdy and expeditionary type of deal that housed the rigid lights and also added a mobile bbq off the back.
Like all projects of this size, it came with a bunch of challenges and unexpected deadlines. But with that said, they are always worth it in the end
Thanks
