Keep coming back to the Raptor

Hey Guys,

I picked up this 2012 in Albuquerque last night. Its it pretty good shape. Has about 30k miles but clearly someone took good care of it. Not sure about the "Custom" Vinyl. I might have to have some removed/replaced. I picked it up pretty cheap and it already has a Flowmaster exhaust, Line-X, Retrax and Rigid Fog lights. I have my Xmitter Prime Extreme from my old raptor that will be going on the front very soon. The dealer is throwing in a new set of OEM shoes for it to. It is used so I don't expect it to be perfect but I'm happy with it. For some reason I had problems with the 2013 sync system on my old Raptor and my powerstroke. I prefer to have real buttons to the touch screen. I am missing the HID's already though. Probably will do that and the LED tails in the near future.

I'm going to detail it up today and clean up the underbody and bed. I checked to make sure the shocks were in good order but I haven't really looked under it much more than that. The rear diff is leaking but I'll get it into the ford dealer and get that fixed this week.

I've had 2 Raptors before and I keep coming back to them. I just love everything about them.

Welcome back! I kinda like that tailgate vinyl but I think it would better with no writing or maybe SVT instead of hp. What's going on on the head, I see stripes?

And as far as HID fronts, I don't know if I want to Retrofit projectors, Buy OEM headlights (which is probably prohibitively expensive), or buy some from that guy on this forum that does the awesome retrofits (I don't remember his username).

Maybe there are more/different options for lighting now a days?

I plan on keeping this Raptor for a long time. It does have hood stripes that look pretty good I think.
